PARIS!!

I'm sorry for not posting earlier! It doesn't mean I haven't been thinking of you... We have been SO busy. We've had two days in Paris so far, two days at Lycée Descartes, and yesterday, we went to Louis XIV palace at Versailles. We've seen lots of art at the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, and the Rodin Museum. Of course we went to Notre Dame, too; and we stopped by the famous Tour Eiffel. We've been noting lots of interesting cultural differences, and I have been battling with the French clavier (keyboard), which is totally different then ours. It has taken me 15 minutes just to write this so far! It's been a bit cold, but we've had some beautiful sun, too. Today it's snowing.
We have our farewell dinner with all the corres and the parents tonight at school, then everyone is free to do what they want this weekend. I am going to a fabric marché to get some cool French fabric to sew with. (Yes, I know I'm a dork.) Monday we see the Pompidou center (modern art), eat falafel, and have a tour of the Marais. Tuesday we leave for Brussels!
I miss you all and I hope you have safe, fun, wonderful vacations. Don't forget your rêves en français! I hope Singing Valentines are fun today - we're pretty sad to be missing them.
