Fr IV - Schoenhof's book buying
I just got a lovely email from Anne saying that she picked up the last two copies of the books (L'etranger and Candide) from Schoenhof's.
Here's the scoop: I called and ordered them last week and they said they should get them in soon. When you go, you need to head to the information desk and ask for the copies reserved for Lexington High School. The copies WON'T be in the stacks, because I've reserved them for you.
Try calling first before you head in, just make sure to ask for the LHS copies. The number for Schoenhof's is (617) 547-8855.
Just in case you want to order online, here's the info about the editions:
Pour notre étude de Candide de Voltaire, je vous demande d’acheter votre propre exemplaire du livre. Cet achat est obligatoire.
Il faut acheter la même édition : c’est Petits Classiques Larousse 2007 (texte intégral). C’est une édition rouge avec un ange (de Michel-Ange !) sur la couverture. ISBN : 978-2-03-583906-0
Nous allons commencer L’étranger de Camus après les vacances, et je recommande que vous achetiez vos propres exemplaires. C’est un livre qu’on lit souvent à l’université, et aussi vous pourriez écrire des notes dans le livre-même. Sinon, j’ai des exemplaires à vous donner.
Pour cette édition, il s’agit de l’édition Folio (c’est numéro 2), d’après éditions Gallimard 1942. ISBN 2-07-036002-4
